This is an adult sized head band. Flowers are silk.

In Poland this is called a bianic or bianica. In Ukraine this is called a vinok.

Dyngus Day always falls on the Monday after Easter.

Wearing red is a requirement to celebrate Dyngus Day and if you’re a woman a flower crown is also a must. “It’s called a bianic and it’s a flower crown and all the unmarried girls wear it as part of the costume.”

The flower crown started as a way to symbolize purity, and rebirth in single females.
